Our traditional style of worship on Sundays (10:30 am) is followed by refreshments in the 'schoolroom'.

All Souls service at St. Mary’s on 1st November to remember our loved ones who have gone before us. 
The Village Remembrance Service on 8th November at St. Mary’s (no service at our church that day) followed by refreshments in our ‘community schoolroom’. 

Regular Events at the Chapel
Second and Fourth Tuesday of the month – Bible and Prayer Group (10:30am)
November Monthly Coffee Morning will be on Friday 6th from 10am
Third Friday of the month – Soup and Sweet Lunch (12:00 midday)

Leprosy Mission: Our chapel has long supported this very good cause and we have launched our annual appeal. Envelopes are available in the church.

At our cosy Methodist chapel in Church Street our services are friendly and relatively informal. We maintain a tradition of equal involvement of all members, through worship, preaching, stewarding and making everyone feel comfortable – especially visitors.

The schoolroom and Wesley room are hired out to local organisations or private individuals in Buckden. We have access for disabled people, toilets include one adapted for use by disabled people. We also have a well equipped kitchen.

At Buckden we are not here just for church members but also for the wider community and their families. We are a really happy that we have close links to all the other Churches in Buckden and we are committed members of Buckden and District Churches Together. 

History
The Chapel was opened in July 1876 and the schoolroom was added in 1911. Today, along with our Anglican and Catholic friends in Buckden, we provide a rich diversity of Christian expression and work together to share our faith in Christ through a variety of community and faith events.
