Music on the Waits
is a series of Sunday afternoon concerts that take place
during July and August each year. Organised by the local FeSt Committee and for many years we at SIMC have offered hot and cold drinks during the intervals.
History
Our church building overlooks the riverside on The Waits. Built in 1815, rebuilt in 1905 and is situated opposite the River Great Ouse. The church was renovated in recent years, opening up the worship area and modernising many of our meeting rooms. A beautiful railing at the front depicts the riverside at St Ives with a blend of eye-catching birds, flora and fauna.
