Wesley Methodist Church, Cambridge, is looking for
an enthusiastic and committed Lay Pastoral Missioner

To work in partnership with the minister in charge, other staff and lay church members with specific responsibilities to:
- Provide regular pastoral care to church members and others.
- Develop the role of lay participation in pastoral care.
- Develop relationships with the wider community in Cambridge
- Increase the profile of the Church in the community, and in particular in the area around the church.
- This part-time post which will be for 25-30 hours per week by agreement. The starting salary will be between £19,500 and £23,400 (full time) depending on experience and qualifications.
- The circuit is committed to the safeguarding of everyone and an enhanced DBS check will be required.
