Great North Run

On Sunday 8th September our Superintendent Minister, Rev James Bamber and Chris Young, a member of Huntingdon Methodist Church, took part in and completed, the Great North Run held in Newcastle upon Tyne.

James and Chris completed the 13.1 mile course in around 2 hours — an amazing achievement by both!

Both were running, not just for personal enjoyment(?) but also to raise funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital. As of 19th September together they have raised £1086 but there is still time to increase this total by donating online at: www.justgiving.com/GOSHJames-Bamber or by just clicking the link here

James and Chris wish to sincerely thank all those who have already donated and further donations will be extremely welcome.
