For the last couple of years, Churches Together in Buckden have been running activities for 'the retired young at heart' during the summer when regular events take a break. We run holiday clubs for the children, so why not for the older folk too?

The Methodist premises are the ideal venue with the hall, kitchen and church being fully used for talks, craft activities and sing-songs and much more. An enormous amount of cake is consumed and great time is had by all.

This year the highlights were a workshop run by the Buckden Handbell Ringers and a grand finale from the Music Hall Society on the final day.

Many thanks to the Circuit for a grant towards this very valuable outreach.
