10K for our Children and Families

We're Running the Distance – For Our Children and Families!

This July, something amazing is happening... the Minister is on the move! Yes, Rev Sue – along with the brave and possibly slightly bonkers Polly, Danny, Colin and John G -- will be running 10K to raise funds for the continuation of our vital Children and Families work here at Berkley Street Methodist Church! We are training hard and sweating harder and will be hitting the pavements at the end of July, to reach not only the finish line, but to get some way towards our fundraising goal.

Every pound you give will support the creative, faith-filled, and joy-packed work Berkley Street Methodist Church does with and for children and families in our community. Whether you can spare the cost of a coffee or a week's worth of ice cream, your generosity makes a real difference..

€ £3 covers the weekly cost of bananas for the Winhills Tots group

£5 covers the cost of birthday cards for the babies and toddlers who come to our Berkley

Busy Bees group

€ £18.25 covers an hour's employment costs for our worker (salary, national insurance and pension)

€ £22.21 covers the cost of one month's mobile phone bill for our worker to keep in touch with people

€ £27.50 covers one session of hall hire for our events, including the annual toy giveaway

€ £50 covers the cost of food for Messy Church, feeding up to 60 children at each event

€ £291.50 covers the cost of employing our worker for 1 week
